NBA Champions Demarcus Cousins Bobblehead
DeMarcus Cousins, an eight-year NBA veteran and two-time All-NBA selection, signed with the Warriors this offseason after spending the previous year with the New Orleans Pelicans.
The four-time All-Star was the only player to average at least 25 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists per game during the 2017-18 campaign.
A proficient scorer and rebounder throughout his career, Cousins also possesses a unique passing ability for a big man that led to a career high in assists in 2017-18.
The 6’11” center has recently developed a consistent outside shot, hitting more than 100 threes in each of the last two seasons. Originally selected by the Kings with the fifth overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft, he spent his first six-plus seasons with the franchise and ranks near the top of several of the team’s Sacramento-Era records. He joins the Warriors owning career averages of 21.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.43 steals and 1.22 blocks.
Cousins’ connection to his new Warriors teammates can be traced to his participation with the USA Men’s National Team.
He won a gold medal in the 2014 FIBA World Cup alongside Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson and captured an Olympic gold medal in 2016 alongside Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Thompson.
