جوكر
هكذا تبدأ الإطلالةُ اللّاهبةُ على العالمِ المجنون الّذي يعيشه الچوكر ذو الفكر المختلّ… المَلكُ المتوَّج للمفاسد في مدينة جوثام. يخرج الچوكر من مستشفى المجانين، غيرَ سعيدٍ رغم أنّه يضحك. لقد تقاسمَ رفاقُه من الأشرار والمجرمين حصّتَه من الكعكة في غيابه وبدّدوها على أهوائهم، ظنًّا منهم أنّه سيغيب إلى الأبد. لكن ها هو الچوكر عاد الآن إلى الشّارع وبه توقٌ إلى جعل جوثام تنزف الدّماءَ كما لم يسبق لها أن نزفت يومًا.
خلال هذه اللّيلة الطّويلة الّتي تعيشها روحُه، سيتقاطع طريقُه مع طُرقِ شخصيّاتٍ من أمثال “بنجوين” و “تو-فيس” و “كيلر كروك” و “هارلي كوين” و “ريدلر”، وبالطّبع – “باتمان”… ولتكُن السّماءُ في عونهم جميعًا.
في أحداثٍ تُروى من منظور چوني فروست، تابعِه الأمينِ المخلص (الغِرِّ السّاذجِ في الوقت نفسه)، تأتيكم رواية “چوكر” نموذجًا حقيقيًّا على أدبِ روايةِ الجريمة السّوداء – رحلةٌ مفجِعةٌ في شوارع أغرقها المطرُ ضمن مدينةٍ يسودُها الغسيلُ الوسِخ وتهيمن عليها الخيارات السّيّئة وحدها.
